Infant and toddler biting in group care is one of the most difficult issues that programs, families, teachers, and children have to deal with. This workshop will address why infants and toddlers bite. Through the use of real-life scenarios, participants will explore how to reduce biting using various strategies based on child development, environmental situations and teacher interactions. This workshop will focus on dealing with biting incidents when they occur and how best to communicate with families on biting issues.
