This session will introduce the concepts of anti-bias education and explore classroom materials and experiences that can support these teaching approaches. Through the use of everyday materials and discussion, teachers can develop children’s positive identity and confidence, appreciation of diversity, empathy toward others, recognition of unfairness, and ability to stand up for what is right.
